FAQ
1. What is an eSIM?
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM built into your device that allows you to activate a mobile data plan without using a physical SIM card. It’s quick, convenient, and perfect for travelers.
2. What does “data-only” mean?
Our eSIMs provide internet data only. They do not include voice calls or SMS services. You can still use apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, Skype, and other internet-based calling/messaging apps over data.
3. Which devices support eSIM?
Most newer smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches support eSIM. Examples include:
Apple: iPhone XR and later, iPad Pro (3rd Gen and later), iPad Air (3rd Gen and later)
Samsung: Galaxy S20 series and newer, Galaxy Z Flip/Fold
Google: Pixel 3 and newer
Check your device’s specifications or settings under Cellular/Mobile > Add eSIM to confirm compatibility.
4. How do I install the eSIM?
After purchase, you’ll receive a QR code or installation instructions by email. To activate:
1. Go to Settings > Mobile/Cellular > Add eSIM on your device.
2. Scan the QR code or enter details manually.
3. Turn on Data Roaming to ensure the connection works properly.
4. Enjoy instant connectivity.
(We provide a step-by-step installation guide for iOS, Android, and iPad devices on our support page.)
5. Can I use my eSIM alongside my regular SIM?
Yes. Most devices support Dual SIM (one physical SIM and one eSIM). You can keep your primary number active for calls/texts and use our eSIM for data.
6. How long is my eSIM valid?
Validity depends on the plan you purchase (e.g., 7 days, 15 days, 30 days, etc.). Once activated, the eSIM works until the purchased data or validity period ends—whichever comes first.
7. Can I top-up or extend my plan?
Currently, our eSIMs cannot be recharged or extended. If you need more data or additional days, you’ll need to purchase a new eSIM plan.
8. Can I transfer my eSIM to another device?
No. Once an eSIM is installed on a device, it is locked to that device and cannot be transferred. Please make sure you install it on the device you plan to use during your trip.
9. Are refunds or exchanges available?
All sales are final.
Once issued, eSIMs cannot be returned, exchanged, or reused on another device.
(As we are a reseller, the maximum liability is limited to the cost of the purchased eSIM.)
10. Will I get a local phone number with my eSIM?
No. Our data-only eSIMs do not include a local phone number. You can continue to use your existing number for calls/texts while using eSIM for data.
11. Do I need to turn on roaming for eSIM to work?
Yes. Please ensure Data Roaming is enabled in your phone’s settings for the eSIM to function properly.
12. Can I use hotspot/tethering with eSIM?
Yes, in most countries and on most devices, you can share your data connection via hotspot/tethering. However, this depends on the carrier and location.
13. How do I check my remaining data?
Some carriers allow data usage tracking directly in device settings. You can also monitor your usage under Mobile Data settings on your device. We recommend resetting your data counter on the day you activate your eSIM.
14. What should I do if my eSIM doesn’t work?
Restart your device.
Ensure Data Roaming is turned on.
Check if you are in the correct coverage area.
Make sure your device supports eSIM and is unlocked.
If it still doesn’t work, please contact our customer support.
15. Why should I choose your eSIM over buying a SIM at the airport?
Instant activation before or after landing.
No need to search for local SIM vendors.
Affordable pricing with transparent plans.
Multiple countries supported in one eSIM (depending on plan).
